Larry Allen

Larry Allen of Oakland was active in the movement to impeach Bush and Cheney, and is running for Congress to point out how many things have failed to change with the Democratic Party in charge in the House, Senate, and White House. Larry says that these things continue: "Two wars based on Bush administration lies; Bank bailouts and billions in bonuses; Spying on our e-mails and phone calls; Guantanamo prison and indefinite detention; 'Don't ask, don't tell' policy in the military; Enormous profits for insurance companies; Health care as a costly privilege, not a right." Larry tells voters to "send the Dems a message by re-registering Peace and Freedom Party."

Larry is running in the 9th Congressional District, roughly the northern third of Alameda County.
