On Saturday, December 3, the Alameda County Peace and Freedom Party and Movement presents "Free All Political Prisoners". Confirmed speakers include:

  • Mary McIlroy on Leonard Peltier
  • Ricardo Ortiz on Oscar Lopez Rivera

When: Saturday, December 3, 2016 from 2:00pm to 4:30pm

As a new mass movement develops to free Mumia Abu-Jamal, we will review the history of political persecutions from the Haymarket Square martyrs to Chelsea Manning and how determined struggle has freed some political prisoners after decades of confinement.

Stan Woods will chair and introduce the forum. Our confirmed speakers: Gerald Smith on Mumia Abu-Jamal, Mary McIlroy on Leonard Peltier, Ricardo Ortiz on Oscar López Rivera.

This is part of our on-going Socialist Forum Series on the first Saturday of every month. Doors open at 2 pm and the program will start promptly at 2:30 pm. The forum will end by 4:30 pm, but folks can stay and talk as long as you like.
