On June 8, 2010 voters passed Proposition 14, which would replace the June partisan primary elections with the first round of a partly partisan, partly non-partisan "top two" election in which political parties no longer nominate candidates for office. The Peace and Freedom Party fought vigorously against this ballot measure. We will continue to fight it in the courts if possible, and at the ballot box. Meanwhile, we will also mount a voter registration campaign to meet the new requirement that we must almost double our registration by 2014 to stay on the ballot. Here are links to all of our website materials from this campaign. |
