The Peace and Freedom Party, founded in 1967, is committed to socialism, democracy, ecology, feminism, and racial equality. The Contra Costa County Central Committee works with other PFP central committees and movement and community organizations. We work in the Richmond Progressive Alliance, Students for a Democratic Society, and Movement for a Democratic Society, as well as other groups on a variety of issues of concern to the working class. We are not only part of an electoral party, we are also activists in our communities.
