Marin County Central Committee

The members of the Marin County Central Committee for 2010-2012 are:

Bob Richard of Larkspur, county chair
Meryl Sundove of Corte Madera

From the death of Coleman Persily in early 2007 through March of this year, we did not have any visible presence in Marin. (Persily, a veteran of the Abraham Lincoln Brigade in the Spanish Civil War, was an effective and respected advocate for tenants rights in San Rafael. He was a six-time Peace and Freedom Party candidate for State Assembly, most recently in 1998, and also ran for local office several times.) As a percentage of all registered voters, our registration here is only half the statewide average. But that will soon change.
