Single-Payer/Medicare for All: Prospects for Progress in California

Greg Miller, a leader of the single-payer health care movement in the South Bay, will kick off the discussion by reporting on the national conference held January 13-15 in New York. Greg, a retired nurse, has been active with Campaign for a Healthy California for several years. He will talk about the prospects for single-payer nationwide and here in California.

The Republicans may be about to repeal the Affordable Care Act and defund Planned Parenthood, but that's all the more reason for us to be proactive here in California. So join us for this discussion of just what we can do.

The San Jose Peace and Justice Center is at 48 S Seventh Street (between San Fernando and Santa Clara), San Jose. Parking available behind the center and on the street (street parking free on Sundays). The center is within a block of stops for the following bus lines: 22, 23, 64 and 72 (there are others, but these are the ones which are still running at 8 pm).
